Ferrari’s latest masterpiece is a track-focused version of their 296 GTB – the 296 Speciale.

Modifications to the Speciale reduce the weight by 60 kg and add 20% more downforce than the GTB. Combined with the handling improvements is a hair-raising total of 868 hp from the hybrid V6 – up from 819 hp – making the 296 Speciale the most powerful rear-wheel drive Ferrari ever made.
As with all extra spicy flavours of Ferrari, the Speciale looks incredible with larger vents and extra wings complimented by racing stripes and “radical styling lexicon” highlighting its sporty and aggressive nature.
The beautiful body is sculpted with inspiration from Ferrari Challenge and GT3 race cars, with elements such as the rear winglets inspired by the FXX K.

A hardtop convertible variant, the 296 Speciale A, has also been unveiled, giving this highly exclusive sports car even more style as you cruise with the wind in your hair.
With no confirmed prices yet, you can assume you’ll never own one as it falls into the hands of the super-rich and exclusive Ferrari customer.
Despite the racing DNA embedded in this car’s exterior, the interior is nothing short of luxury. All the style and substance you would expect from a road-going Ferrari are blended with extensive use of carbon fibre and Alcantara for a lightweight, race-inspired feel.

Ferrari’s strong financial results over 2024 have yielded the opportunity to present six new models this year, with the Italian marque’s first EV in October and an SF90 replacement (plus convertible variant) expected this year.
The new 296 variants play an important role in that, generating interest in sales of the plug-in hybrid models as they compete with Lamborghini’s 920-hp Temerario hybrid.
